This prototype sidebar, created with UW-Waukesha and Professor Jon Kasparek, was made for Wisconsin's Sept. 9th Primary Election.
It's a sidebar of content specifically selected for the UW-Waukesha community next to the statewide Wisconsin Public Television & Radio coverage. These news links covering Waukesha's assembly race were found and posted by Professor Kasparek. He also contributed the event listings.
We are looking for local content editors, which can be faculty, students or student groups, and we have some funding we can pass on as honorarium. But we will also add as much information as we can for campuses with no local editors.
We will research and provide local voting and registration contact information for each campus community.
Local candidates will be highlighted in the sidebar and linked to the more extensive profiles on the Wisconsin Vote candidate database.
